Terry o'neil was born in 1938

 in the east end of London , as a young boy he wanted to be a drummer .
By the time he left school at 14 he was already a accomplished drummer finding work with small combos playing on the London scene
But terry had bigger ideas and wanted to play with the drummers on the east coast of America to study
Becoming a air Stewart would give him free travel to new york so he applied .
Terry joined the company BOAC’ he became a trainer for the company's photographic unit
one day in 1959 he took a shot of  a sleeping rab butler the then Home Secretary
This photo was snapped up by the Sunday dispact and was used for there front cover
The editor offend him a part time job as there photography for the airport
As the 60s came terry became work for the daily sketch , he photographed many upper and coming bands like The Beatles and the stones



Hes natural relaxed style of photography was just what the bands wanted and he became much  in demand

terry then became freelance and had many photos used in vogue and rolling stone magazine and life and many more .he became 1 of the most published photographers of the 60s and 70s

He famously went out with fay dunaway and took some famous photos of her the morning after her Oscar win




 In the 80s terry became the photographer of choice for Hollywood and worked on the 75th anniversary celebrations of Paramount pictures
Terry success has gone on in the 90s until this day and is regarded as one of the great British photographers
