Conclusion

I'm happy i finished off the remaining 4 units from Level 3 diploma in photography and photo imaging
Was nice to experiment with new ideas in my photography that i had not tyred before

Home printing unit 310

I have decided to print 1 of my portrait photos at home
 to show the various methods of printing


My home printer EPSON STYLUS DX6050



First you can decide how you wanted your picture printed
from what size of paper to how many photos on one page


You can then decide what orttenration you want your picture
and in advance mode you can use black ink only


my pc and the printer it self shows how much ink you have left


                                          you have options for quality of paper draft just text
                                        , text and image , photo quality and best quality option

There is a option for a preview just before you print
This is a great tool just to make sure you have anything right

I have not used my printer for few months so
My first prints had problems


Problem print > Only prints part of image
Also Image is not straight
Solution clean print heads make sure you in line your paper


Printing problem >horizontal banding
 Horizontal banding usually mean there is a blocked nozzle
Solution clean print heads




Problem print  > Prints black as red
Solution your black ink could be too low
so your printer is using red as it is the dominant colour

For my products i wanted to use water as my theme
For my portraits my theme was females



I used  A2 Epson Luster paper on an Epson 3800 Stylus Pro printer.

The quality of the pare was good showed
 up the various colours in my images

I used bob books for this because of the quality of the final calender

You can have many different layouts to suit your design

There are many differnt looks you can go for






You can change many details of your calender from background
colour to size of days


You can organize what photo gos in what month




My choice was to have the calender transparent and have the photo
as the background and but another photo over the top
